Over 30 Years Of Experience

During his more than 30 years as a leading disability attorney, Mr. Hager has personally handled over 1,900 cases.

In addition to what all competent disability attorneys do, here are four distinguishing commitments:

To work hands-on with the claimant or significant others in all phases of the process with no delegation to staff.

To educate the claimant on how to use specially designed diaries and charts for documenting symptoms, signs, and functional limitations.

To assist claimants in transmitting this crucial information not only to SSA but also to their doctors.

To begin representation early in the claims process, optimally at the application stage, regardless of fee considerations.

An Attorney With A Proven Record

For 38 years, Robert Hager has been a tireless advocate for those who have difficulty advocating for themselves. His law firm began in 1986 and by 1989 it was exclusively focused on SSA disability and remains so today. Since 1997, this advocacy has been strengthened by efforts designed to improve physicians’ medical documentation. He has presented at professional inservices for physicians on SSA disability regulations and medical documentation.
